During my creative writing, I use various tools. I will share information on this blog about some of the devices that I use such as the Geartist Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter and Receiver – Model RT419.
I purchased this bluetooth wireless transmitter and receiver from Amazon to connect to my phone to use with a speaker to have better sound. The box contained a user manual titled “Bluetooth Hi-Fi Dual Mode Transceiver”. Included in the box was the transmitter/receiver which had an audio jack.
On the side of the bluetooth wireless transmitter is a switch that could be moved to select transmitter or moved to select receiver. Also included in the box is a usb charging cable, and white and red audio cable that you can use with older equipment. The box contains a very nice bag to store the receiver. The transmitter is plastic but that has not interferred with use.
I have not used the transmitter with my phone but I have used it with my laptop. My laptop has tiny speakers that don't have much volume. I connected the RT419 Bluetooth transmitter and receiver to the headphone port, then paired it with a portable bluetooth speaker. (I will write about the speaker later.) Pairing was quick, and the audio from the speaker is a lot better than the laptop's sound. My only complaint is that the long press function key that turns the bluetooth wireless transmitter and receiver on is covered with plastic and now looks wrinkled but it still works. I highly recommend this transmitter/receiver.
What type of transmitter/receiver do you use and how is it working for you?
